The short version

  • CoConstruct is being retired by Buildertrend. After March 31, 2027, no new projects can be started in CoConstruct.
  • Refined VA migrates CoConstruct companies to JobTread, done for you: data moved, account built out, team trained.
  • JobTread costs $199 a month plus $20 per internal user, flat and published. Buildertrend starts at $699 a month, with pricing tiered by revenue.
  • Companies starting now go live months before the deadline. Our current CoConstruct migration, Xscapes, kicked off October 5 and targets go-live before year-end.
The default move

Doing nothing is also a decision

Buildertrend bought CoConstruct in 2021 and is now retiring it. If you do nothing, your next stop is Buildertrend, on Buildertrend's pricing: starting at $699 a month, in tiers that climb with your revenue, with top plans passing $50,000 a year and no published price list.

Five months sounds like a long time. Between moving your data, learning a new system, and getting your team up to speed, most of it is already spoken for. Start early and the switch is calm. Wait until February and you are competing with every other CoConstruct user doing the same math.

What Refined VA handles

Your data, carried over

Projects, contacts, cost catalog, documents, and the records your team relies on, moved from CoConstruct into JobTread and checked, not dumped.

Your account, built out

Estimate templates, selections, workflows, and settings structured around how your company actually runs jobs, not a blank default.

Your team, trained

Role-based training so the office and the field are confident in JobTread before go-live, not figuring it out mid-project.

Your jobs, uninterrupted

The switch happens behind the scenes on a planned timeline. Your active projects keep moving while we do the heavy lifting.

How it works

Three steps

1

Book a call

Tell us how you use CoConstruct today and what has to survive the move. We map your migration and give you a straight timeline and price.

2

We build and move

We build your JobTread account and carry your data over, checking it with you as it lands.

3

Your team goes live

Training first, then go-live on a date you choose, well ahead of March 31, 2027.

Proof, not promises

This is the work we are doing right now

Refined VA is running this exact CoConstruct to JobTread migration for contractors today, alongside full JobTread implementations for established remodelers and builders. It is our specialty, not a side service.

In progress right now: Xscapes

Xscapes, a Virginia outdoor living contractor, approved their CoConstruct to JobTread migration in late September and kicked off October 5. Their build runs in weekly sessions with our team: 242 CoConstruct estimating assemblies and roughly 2,000 cost line items being cleaned up and rebuilt in JobTread, a QuickBooks Online switch in the same window, and go-live targeted before year-end, months ahead of the deadline. Same move you are facing, already underway.

Questions

Before you ask

What actually happens on March 31, 2027?

CoConstruct stops allowing new projects. Your historical data stays accessible, but your business cannot start new work in it. Every CoConstruct company has to be running somewhere else by then.

Does my project history come with me?

That is the point of doing this with a specialist instead of starting empty. We plan what carries over, projects, contacts, cost catalog, documents, and verify it in JobTread with you before go-live.

How long does a migration take?

It depends on how much data you are bringing and how your account is structured today. On your call we map your specific move and give you a timeline against the deadline, in writing.

What does JobTread itself cost?

$199 a month plus $20 per internal user, published on JobTread's site, every feature included. Your Refined VA migration is quoted on your call once we see your account.

Why not just take the free move to Buildertrend?

Because the software bill is the small part. Buildertrend starts at $699 a month and climbs with your revenue, and your team still has to learn a new system either way. If you are retraining everyone regardless, land on the platform you would choose on purpose.

The deadline is not moving.
Your start date can.

Book a call and we will map your CoConstruct to JobTread move, with a timeline and a price, before the calendar makes the decision for you.
